LIFE COACHING

Along with our pastor and professor credentials, we are also trained Lifeforming Leadership Coaches. Through life coaching, we come alongside you to help you grow and understand yourself more deeply in order for you to live with greater purpose and fulfillment. Coaching should not be confused with counseling or mentoring. Where counseling tends to look at the past to help you heal, coaching focuses on the future to help you grow and learn about yourself in order to get the most out of life.

4 Keys to Our Coaching Engagements
  1. Coaching is a transformational conversation. The biggest surprise for first-time clients is realizing that as coaches we are not there to give advice. Instead, through powerful questions, we give you a chance to see life from new perspectives. Coaches don't give solutions; they help you solve your own problems. By leveraging every situation to build your capacity as a person, coaching prepares you for much bigger challenges in the future.

  2. Coaching is a transparent relationship. Establishing trust is key for all coaching relationships. A transparent, trusting relationship with your coach frees you to go to places you've never gone before.

  3. Coaching is a support system for change. With support, encouragement and accountability from someone who believe in us, we can do far more than we'd ever accomplish alone. A coach helps you stay on track, overcome obstacles and convert your "want-to's" into concreate action steps.

  4. Coaching is imitating the posture of God. The heart of a coach is cultivated by abiding in Christ. Powerful coaching comes from studying, internalizing and imitating the way Christ related to those he encountered and how he relates to us. We offer this to others, which in turn, facilitates transformation.

"So we have stopped evaluating others by what the world thinks about them. Once I mistakenly thought of Christ that way, as though he were merely a human being. How differently I think about him now! What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun!" 2 Corinthians 5:16-17
